Sarzeau - English and Welsh Springer Spaniels

welcome

Sarzeau Springer Spaniels - English and Welsh - are located at our home in North Warwickshire.

We acquired our first Springer in the early 1980s (working type). Later in the 1980s we acquired our first Show type and, since then, have been actively engaged in competing in the show ring.

We have enjoyed a degree of success over the years and have made many friends.

Our dogs are part of our family. We love them very much. They give us a great deal of enjoyment both in and out of the show ring. A win to us at a companion show means as much of a good day as a place at a championship show. After all, we are taking home the best dogs!

Our affix, Sarzeau, has been taken from the name of a small town in Brittany. That place is special to us, as we had many happy holidays there in our caravan when our son was young. Our love of France, together with our Springers, continues. We now have a small holiday cottage there.

We very occasionally have a litter of puppies. Our last litter was born in Dec. 2001. They are always very carefully home-reared. We only sell to approved homes. Hopefully, we are planning a litter for 2005.

One of our stud dogs, Ketsby Kalvados at Sarzeau has sired several litters, which have included some promising pups. His father is the great Sh.Ch. Wadeson Inspector Wexford, the current breed record holder of 56 CCs.
